david opened my door this morning, and the breeze and fresh air coming into my room is really great. its almost like being outside. right. just like being outside.
they’ve gone off to the park “on poplar street” as dorothy informed us this morning. its a good way for her to burn off some energy and hopefully take a nap later. her naps have become less and less reliable. but, the transition to a bed has gone very smoothly. she LOVES her big-girl-bed!
the knitting continues to rumble along. i finished knitting the mitered square blanket and sent it home with my mom to be sewn together. i immediately started on a log cabin blanket, but i’m waiting for new colors to come in, so that’s on hold right now. i made a washcloth and i’m about 1/2 way done with a burp cloth. knitting lying down is not easy. definitely stick to easy patterns! i’ll take some pictures soon, i promise.
i’ve signed up to do NaBloPoMo national blog posting month…the goal is to post each day in november. so keep checking back for more posts this month!
