After two nights, Dorothy’s newest habit seems to be that she pretends to go to sleep when I put her in the crib, and after about 5 minutes, she’s crawling in circles in her crib screaming at the top of her lungs.
Last night I rocked her to sleep in the chair, she finally fell asleep about one hour after her usual bedtime.
Tonight, David went in to ‘deal’ with Dorothy. It is now 8:40 pm, 1 hour and 10 minutes past her bedtime, and while I don’t hear her making lots of unhappy noises, I do hear a stuffed animal singing, “here we go round the mulberry bush.”
Let me tell you, it is taking EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING to not go in there and pronounce it “Bedtime”
